When Steel Meets Lip

I wish I wish I caught a fish,
I’d put it back and would not bitch.
It would be free to swim away,
to be caught again some other day.
And when the steel again meets lip,
I hope the next will let it slip.
This is how I base my hunch,
that a fish is too good to be caught only once.
